This class focuses on building a strong contemporary foundation through technique, terminology, and intention. We’ll break down core contemporary principles such as alignment, weight transfer, breath, floor work, and musicality—while exploring why movements are executed the way they are.

Rather than rushing through choreography, this class emphasizes clarity and understanding. You’ll learn proper terminology, refine movement pathways, and connect technique to expression in a way that feels informed and embodied.

Designed for all levels, this class supports beginners as they build a solid foundation, while offering intermediate and advanced dancers (and educators) the opportunity to revisit fundamentals, clean up details, and deepen their movement quality.

Please note: All open classes are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you're unable to attend after registering, your class will be donated to our Community Pass Program, which provides free dance training to dancers in need.
