Contemporary Barre + Center

Contemporary Barre + Center is a structured, technique-driven class modeled after traditional ballet training and approached through a contemporary lens.

We will begin at the barre, building strength, alignment, articulation, and control through layered exercises in both parallel and turned-out positions. Class then transitions into center work including adagio, turns, and grounded traveling phrases designed to challenge the body while maintaining fluidity and release. The focus is on developing strong technical foundations while supporting each dancer’s individual movement quality.

This is an open level class. Foundational exercises are shared as a group, with progressions and modifications offered to meet dancers where they are.

Please note: All open classes are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you're unable to attend after registering, your class will be donated to our Community Pass Program, which provides free dance training to dancers in need.
