MEET MS. TIFFANY
I'm Tiffany Davis and I'm a dance educator, choreographer, and the founder of Ms. Tiffany’s Dance — a space where formal training meets radical storytelling. With over 17 years of experience, my work blends technical precision with emotional depth.
My journey began in Indianapolis with the performance group FIRE, where I trained in modern, contemporary, and West African dance and performed for eight years as the youngest member of the company. I continued my training at Barb & Company Dance and later at Birmingham-Southern College, immersing herself in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and choreography under a diverse range of esteemed educators.
Today, my work spans private coaching, open classes, and dance film — including Moments, my debut project amplifying the voices of Black and brown women through movement. Whether leading a class or directing behind the camera, my work centers purpose, presence, and people.

HOW I TEACH

I didn’t just grow up dancing — I grew up learning how to communicate through movement. From performing with FIRE as a young teen to choreographing boundary-pushing work at Birmingham-Southern, I’ve always been drawn to the storytelling power of dance.
That same energy lives in the way I teach. Whether I’m guiding a dancer through their first pirouette or fine-tuning performance quality for the camera, my sessions are built to honor both skill and spirit. I blend strong foundations with a deep respect for the individual — creating training spaces that are precise, grounded, and full of intention.

I work with dancers 15 and up for private training and adult dancers for classes. My students range from beginners exploring movement for the first time, to seasoned professionals refining their craft. I also train musical artists and actors, helping them elevate their stage presence, physical storytelling, and connection with their audience.

Teaching is one part of my story. Beyond the studio, I create dance films, choreograph new works, coach performers, and consult with artists—each passion connected, each rooted in movement.
