About the event
Beginning Jazz Technique & Choreography is a beginner-friendly class designed to introduce the fundamentals of jazz dance through both technique and choreography.
Class begins with foundational technique work including basic jazz steps, terminology, alignment, and musicality. Dancers will learn how to execute movements such as chassés, turns, kicks, and transitions with clarity and control. These skills are then applied to a short, guided choreography combination.
The class moves at a supportive pace with clear instruction, repetition, and modifications as needed. Ideal for dancers who are new to jazz, returning after time away, or looking to strengthen their foundation in a welcoming, structured environment.
Please note: All open classes are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you're unable to attend after registering, your class will be donated to our Community Pass Program, which provides free dance training to dancers in need.
